María Alejandra Giménez Uribe, founder and General Manager of Novamine, stands out in this edition for successfully positioning the company abroad under her leadership. Novamine now has a presence in six countries, including Mozambique, Mexico, and the United States. She has navigated the complexities of international trade while actively participating in programs by ProChile and INAPI Chile. Moreover, she champions female inclusion in the industry through initiatives like “Women in Manufacturing” and remains firmly committed to regional development.

The study, conducted by the Research Department of Chile’s Undersecretariat for International Economic Relations, reveals key insights into the country’s economic internationalization. Some of the highlights include:

• For the first time, women-led companies surpassed 2,500 exporters, reaching 2,542 and accounting for 29.7% of all Chilean exporting firms.
• These companies have become a vital source of employment, generating more than 500,000 formal jobs.
• Women-led exporters offer over 2,800 products and services worldwide across a broad range of industries.

Novamine’s participation in this research reflects its deep commitment to strengthening women-led entrepreneurship. It also highlights the crucial contributions these companies make to Chile’s economic development.
